In collaboration with the Institute of Physiology, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the International Institute on Ageing United Nations-Malta (INIA), organized an in-situ programme in Human longevity: Social, psychological and physical determinants, in Baku, Azerbaijan from 5-12 September 2018. As part of the programme, the participants went on a research trip to Ismayili and Leric regions with high index of longevity of the Republic of Azerbaijan. They had the opportunity to meet with long-livers and participants of the research programme Study of molecular-genetic mechanisms of longevity.
