INIA organized a training programme titled “Active Ageing, Geriatrics & Dementia Care in Care Homes for Older Persons” at Residenza San Ġużepp, il-Fgura, Malta. The event was inaugurated by Rosette Farrugia-Bonello, INIA’s Deputy Director, and, Emmanuel Saliba General Manager at Residenza San Ġużepp.

The programme featured several key sessions. Dr. Maria Bonnici delivered a lecture on “Geriatric Healthcare for Older Persons Living in Care Homes,” followed by two sessions on “Dementia Care Issues” and “Active Ageing in Care Homes for Older Persons” presented by Rosette Farrugia-Bonello.

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participants, primarily carers and nurses working at Residenza San Ġużepp.
