INIA organised a training programme in ‘Geriatric and Dementia Care Management’ at St. Joseph’s Residential Home, a private long-term residential care home for older persons in Fgura, Malta. The programme was attended by employees from the same home. Lectures addressed Nursing care of older adults,  Occupational Therapy in long-term care facility, Dementia: Trends and Issues and  Social Therapeutic activities in dementia care. The programme was opened by Rosette Farrugia-Bonello, INIA’s Deputy Director and Emmanuel Saliba, General Manager of St. Joseph’s Care Home.
