Ms. Farrugia-Bonello’s keynote presentation was on ‘Active and Healthy Ageing in a Changing World’. The session was chaired by Dr. Alexandre Sidorenko, INIA’s senior advisor on policy and training. Both Ms. Farrugia-Bonello and Dr. Sidorenko are also members of the (eng)aging scientific committee.

The conference, which was held in hybrid, debated the potential of the silver economy to benefit all generations; and the building capacity to manage crises and their impact on the lives of older persons. It also presented technological products and solutions which have the potential to improve the lives of older persons.
