INIA’s Deputy Director Rosette Farrugia-Bonello was a speaker at the ICA Congress 2023, which was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with the theme of ‘Enriching knowledge Societies’. Rosette spoke about ‘The Right to be remembered from a legalistic to a humanitarian perspective’, whereby she highlighted the importance of reminiscence therapy in the field of dementia through the use of historical documents and other media. The Congress was attended by around 1000 professionals from around the world, who networked, collaborated, and learned from experts through practical workshops and conference presentations.
